Tinker Labs classes
With the aim of stimulating children's curiosity and critical thinking, we conduct workshops for children of preschool and school age. Given the situation of the education system, which still does not meet the needs of modern teaching, Tinker Labs is a specially designed pedagogical-research program that introduces children to the world of STEAM professions.
When familiarizing with the Tinker Labs method, our little scientists are already developing skills for a critical approach to different problems. More than 150 experiments throughout the school year allow children to develop fine motor skills. The method was designed to provide a complete and integrated approach to solving children's problems, but also to express the child's abilities that go beyond the scope of school subjects.
Dry ice the Tinkerastic way
Unusual experiments and examples bring smiles to the faces of our scientists, and afterwards they convey their satisfaction with joy. One of the most interesting topics throughout the school year is definitely the lesson on dry ice, where the children simply enjoy every moment of the lesson. Along with a handful of topics from the STEAM field, the Tinker Labs program makes even geometry interesting for children.
Educational program
The programs are designed in several courses by age groups: Tinker Tots, Tinker Town and Tinker World. Each program lasts two years, and is held once a week for 45 to 75 minutes. The courses include special author's textbooks, picture books and workbooks. Specialized textbooks follow groups of characters named after great scientists and inventors, such as Nikola Tesla, Leonardo Da Vinci or Marie Curie. All activities are designed to encourage children to solve problems independently, think experimentally, be willing to cooperate, and develop creativity and a desire for research.
Tinker fantastic fun
The Tinker Tots course is intended for our youngest scientists - ages 4 to 6. Tinker Town teaches children from 7 to 10 years old about a new profession every week: doctor, electrical engineer or architect, and in this way they get to know professions from the STEAM field that they need in the future. Our oldest scientists learn about Michelangelo, Da Vinci and other world scientists and inventors at the Tinker World course. Through these experiences, children develop skills related to science and want to explore their abilities using tools and scientific language.
Allow children to build their future from an early age!
From a young age, children should be allowed to express their creativity through independent research, study and asking questions, and our teachers encourage this in children. An individual approach to each child in small groups (up to 10 students) enables the discovery of the child's potential and recognition of interest in STEAM from an early age
Geometry in a fun way
The delight of students and parents is a reflection of the positive results of the Tinker Labs program, but the growth of the child's self-confidence is our biggest measure of success. This confirms the fact that the outcome of learning has long-term consequences for children and shapes their affinity towards different sciences and their application in everyday life.
The program is available at 37 locations in Croatia
The fastest growing franchise is currently located in 37 locations in Croatia, and from the fall we are opening our schools in as many as 11 new locations. The slogan on which the entire program is based is "From game, to passion, to purpose". The Ministry of Science and Education, based on the positive professional assessment of the Education Agency, gave the Tinker Labs program verification and recommended the implementation of the courses as an excellent extracurricular activity for children.
